Midland Heart, has successfully recruited to three further board positions, following the recent announcement that former Housing Minister, Lord Austin, will replace John Edwards CBE, who steps down in September having served 9 years as Chair.
Along with extensive knowledge and experience within their field, the three successful candidates will bring a collective 50 years’ experience in the housing sector.
Dasos Christou is currently Executive Director (Customer Relations) for Silva Homes, a housing association providing affordable homes to over 14000 customers across South East England. Dasos will bring a strong commercial background and a passion for implementing and delivering customer service improvements. As a current Independent Operations Committee Member at Midland Heart, Dasos joins the board with a strong overview of the organisation and its vision.
Pamela Leonce is the Founder and CEO of Stowhill Careers, specialising in business consultancy and executive career coaching. Pamela is also Chair of Inquilab Housing Association, Board Member of Sovereign Housing Association and Local Space, and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor to Saxton Bampfylde, bringing over 30 years’ experience in the housing sector, to this role.
Abigaile Bromfield, an expert in urban planning strategy and growth, has worked in both the public and private sectors. Her experience includes secondment in the Cabinet Office, reporting directly to the Prime Minister; and secondment to Birmingham City Council as Director or Legacy for Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Currently she is serving as Strategic Director for the Midlands UK Cities, Planning and Design teams at Arup, a global consultancy dedicated to sustainable development. Abigaile leads on the planning and delivery of large development projects from the company’s fourth largest global office.
