The audit measured performance against key health and safety management best practice indicators, and saw a detailed review of almost sixty component elements. Following the audit, Midland Heart was awarded a best practice five star grading, with an overall score of 93.6%.

Mike Robinson, CEO British Safety Council, said:

“The award of a five-star grading following our occupational best practice Health and Safety Audit is an outstanding achievement and is reflective of a proactive organisation which is committed to continual improvement in its health and safety arrangements and managing risks to workers’ health, safety and wellbeing. Midland Heart should be very proud of this achievement.”

This is a great achievement, not only for our Health and Safety team, but for all colleagues at Midland Heart as we all have a role to play. We’re a proactive organisation and the audit result further highlights our industry-leading processes which are in place to keep our colleagues safe whilst undertaking their work. We are delighted with the five star rating and will continue to build on our efforts to ensure our tenants are receiving the best possible service from us.
